Dance and Pop Art have a long history together. A friend of Rosenquist, in addition to the well-known Warrol, is Robert Rauschenberg. Both of them believe in engravings technique as an excellent artistic language. Engraving means corporeality.<br>Rauschenberg had understood it so clearly that he placed his creative process alongside with Merce Cunningham\u2019s dance (by designing for him scenographies and costumes).
