Almost without our knowledge, artworks are blossoming as spontaneous poppies in ruins or by the roadside. What a joy for keen-eyed passersby!
With this kind of spontaneity, we approach Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with the aim of encouraging the audience to that quality of looking. For the occasion, Arearea gathers fifteen dancers and sets up a traveling urban dance performance divided into four atmospheres.
To each season a different natural place; to each atmosphere a different quality of movement.
Marta Bevilacqua and Roberto Cocconi sign two seasons each, respectively Summer_Winter and Spring_Autumn, and guide the large group in a perpetual coming and going of concentrates of energy, sudden outbursts, quiet yells, bewilderment, losses of senses and continuous surges.
