The Overture is not merely a musical prelude; it is an explosion of potential, an emotional summary of dramas not yet unfolded. In this work, four bodies inhabit the liminal space between anticipation and action, transforming the symphonic structures of Rossini, Verdi, Bizet, and Donizetti into an architecture of bodies in constant tension, reacting to the impact of sound.

Overture is a study of thresholds — a journey in which contemporary dance does not “illustrate” classical music, but challenges it, dissects it, and inhabits it, demonstrating that these centuries-old sounds still resonate with a startling modernity.
