In the society of the fourth industrial revolution, the sole commandment is productivity. Thrown into an apathetic and sterile world, humanity  is compelled to dehumanize itself, and the touch that allows us to establish intimate connections with others becomes, in this context, a retouch — a self-directed modification action that reduces individuals to objects in order to match the rhythms of the machine. The oppression of the assembly line becomes the material barrier between me and those in front of me.
