Healing Together was born from a series of silent protests, choreographic actions created during the lockdown and dedicated to the concept of the body of protest. The intention is to create a process where the performers can surrender to a mutually constructed space and expose their vulnerable bodies. In this shared space, they move together through a dance that emerges from their own stream of consciousness activated in real time, with the aim of releasing and revealing both new and held-back tensions. The goal is to create a collective body that self-generates in the present moment, as a form of protest. The bodies are offered to the community, with their vulnerabilities exposed and their wounds laid bare. The identity of each individual body is revealed and deconstructed in real time, through encounters with others, showing how boundaries can yield and stop defending themselves.
